Upper Mustang trekking lies in the hidden rural valley in Mustang region. Upper Mustang is in the north central area of Nepal, which is near to the Tibetan border. Mustang region is a highly praised trekking route in the world. Mustang, from Tibetan terms Mun Tan, means fertile plain. It is the former Kingdom of Lo.
